Studio Visit - Karin Schminke's Studio

My office allows room for both my Macintosh computers and my Intergraph NT which are networked together. Category five networking was built into the walls so I can easily connect to my Tektronix color laser printer (edge of Tektronix Phaser 560 shows in front left foreground) or my Epson 3000 and Epson 9500.

This is the room where I work with a variety of mixed media, as well as where I carry out framing and packing projects. The large table at the center is on casters and pulls out, revealing another work space on top of the flat files. The door on the right is one of a set of double doors that opens to a 54" deep cabinet that houses a large flat file and five vertical bins for storing a variety of art materials.
